The audio file presented on this page was originally broadcast on KNUI AM 900 in early January 1993. Uncle Charlie Maxwell taped the copy and with the permission of Paul Harvey, played it for the 45,000 people gathered at `Iolani Palace on January 17, 1993, the 100th anniversary of the overthrow.
